Today I was lying on mum's bed (my favourite place) and I heard a rustling sound coming from the kitchen. Well, I often hear rustling sounds and know when my mum might be getting me a treat, but this was a different kind of noise. So I got up to check it out and me and mum got to the kitchen at the same time and crept in and just listened. I'm not very good at creeping in really but I did my best to go on my tippy toes. Well, mum looked at me and I looked at her and we both knew we had heard the pitter patter of tiny feet somewhere behind the units. 'Cept I knew just where the little fellow was and did my best to get under the cooker to catch him. Mum laughed at me and said I looked like I was limbo dancing, whatever that is. But, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get even my nose under there.
Now this was a very cheeky mousey because while I had my nose stuck under the cooker I felt a little tickle on my tail and I just knew it had to be him, so I sprung round to catch it and went round and round, and mum just laughed and laughed. I had so much fun that I forgot about the mouse and mum gave me a nice treat just for making her laugh so much!
